Eligibility: Competitive swimmers (MMST: Purple-Gold)
Why the Dimitrov Shield: The Dimitrov’s were our first coaches when the team officially became the Milton Marlins. The played a very important part in their 16 years with the team. They had the vision that Milton could have a competitive swim team and could swim at all levels, including national. They fostered the team spirit, sportmanship and the feeling we could compete against anyone. They taught us to believe. The Dimitrov Shield is a way of saying thank you.
